Last year, the East Ger­man Cham­pi­on­ship cele­bra­ted her pre­mie­reThe idea was to mer­ge the Sta­te asso­cia­ti­ons of Sax­o­ny, Sax­o­ny-Anhalt, Thu­rin­gia, Ber­lin and Bran­den­burg lar­ge start­ing fields in the Latin sec­tion of the main group and mas­ter clas­ses This was suc­cessful and the second time, too, num­e­rous dance couples.

This year the cham­pi­on­ship in the Palais am See, from Janu­ary 11th to 12th, 2025 in Ber­lin. Like last year our dance cou­ples were also repre­sen­ted this time. They not only danced for the East Ger­man cham­pi­on, but also for the sta­te cham­pi­on­ship title in 2025.

On Satur­day the cou­ples of the Mas­ters III D Latin the begin­ning. One of the 6 cou­ples were Tho­ralf and Anja Böli­cke. With the start­ing num­ber 1 It beca­me clear whe­re they wan­ted to go, and so they did it. Both danced their way the natio­nal cham­pi­on­ship title and cle­ar­ly won the over­all tour­na­ment. This also allo­wed her to East Ger­man Cham­pi­ons Cup With this vic­to­ry they were also able to dance with the Mas­ters III C. This time 11 pairs star­ted. With 27 out of 28 cros­ses they moved into the final and could not belie­ve their own ears when they heard that here too the Sta­te cham­pi­on­ship title and East Ger­man cham­pi­on­ship title to Frank­furt (Oder) goes.

Also arri­ving from Frank­furt were Falk Korn­dör­fer and Chris­ti­ne BeckerBoth star­ted at the Mas­ters II C Latin. 11 pairs were also on the field here. The­r­e­fo­re, both had to assert them­sel­ves in the preli­mi­na­ry round. They advan­ced to the finals wit­hout any pro­blems and took the 7th place at the East Ger­man Cham­pi­on­ship. In the Bran­den­burg ran­king they secu­red the title with the gold medal.

The TSC con­tin­ued with the Mas­ters II B Latin. Here star­ted Georg Win­zer / Anke Schnei­der. The start­ing field fol­lo­wed the num­ber of the day name­ly 11This meant that Georg and Anke had to give their all in the preli­mi­na­ry round, from Sam­ba to Jive. They suc­cee­ded in this with easeIn the final, the scores were very mixed. In the end, they took 5th place at the East Ger­man Cham­pi­on­shipAt the same time, they were able to 1st place at the Bran­den­burg Sta­te Cham­pi­on­ship be hap­py.

Dirk and Ramo­na Vogel repre­sen­ted the TSC at the Mas­ters III B Latin. This time the magi­cal Num­ber 11 sup­ple­men­ted by a pair. The two nar­row­ly missed the Ent­ry into the final of the East Ger­man Cham­pi­on­ship and finis­hed 8th. They ended their tour­na­ment day as Brandenburg’s run­ner-up.

The day ended with the dance cou­ples of the spe­cial class. Both Mas­ters II S Latin 8 cou­ples ente­red the area. This included Mar­tin Lutz and Katar­zy­na Rybins­kaIn the strong start­ing field, both of them all pos­si­ble cros­ses in the finalHere they pre­sen­ted them­sel­ves again with all five Latin dances and took first place in the East Ger­man Cham­pi­on­ship 4th placeAt the same time, they were able to 1st place at the Bran­den­burg Sta­te Cham­pi­on­ship be happy.
