As has been the case for many years, Berlin and Brandenburg are jointly organizing the state championships in standard dances. This time the venue was Berlin. On Saturday the children and young people in classes D and C could be seen on the dance floor and on Sunday the children and young people in classes B and A as well as the adults in classes D to A.
On Saturday, 2 young pairs will start for our club in the Children D Standard class. For the two young couples, it’s about gaining competition experience. Our young people, on the other hand, are doing very well. Of the 4 pairs that started, 2 pairs became national champions and two became runners-up. Noah Maximilian Gudlowski and Andrea Bönisch become runner-up national champions in the Junior I D category. Nick Beyer and Lisa-Marie Rische become national champions in the Youth C class and, with this title, are promoted to Youth B at the same time. Congratulations! Tears of joy flowed! In the same class, Paul-Jerome Brümmer and Solomiya Voronko achieved second place and are therefore runner-up national champions. The state championships for youth B and A classes as well as adults will be held on Sunday. In Youth B, our club won the next national championship title with Jason Pierenz and Josie Brandt. We would also like to congratulate you on this.
Finally, we would like to invite all children and young people aged 12 and over who are interested in dance to join our training group “Break dancing“Invite you to training on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The training takes place in our club rooms in the SMC.
