Last weekend, several tournaments took place for our tournament couples on May 21st and 22nd, 2022.
As every year, the TC Brilliant Berlin eV organized the event in Berlin May Cup for the main group and senior classes out of. Two couples from our club started at this tournament. Torsten and Sophie Klaust started in seniors II and III C and Stefan Scholz and Anna Lunk in the Seniors II C. In the Seniors II C both couples were able to secure good places. Stefan and Anna took 6th place out of 9 couples, Torsten and Sophie took 5th place and thus achieved a placement at the same time. In the Seniors II C, things went even better for Torsten and Sophie. 11 couples started in the class. With a number of points, the two reached second place and narrowly missed out on winning the tournament.
One of our children’s couples also danced this weekend. Fabrice Renné and Chantal Chatalow danced at Fontane Cup for kids, youth and main groups. This tournament was organized by TC Schwarz-Rot Neuruppin eV. On Saturday the two danced both standard and Latin in the Junior II D and Youth D classes. In Latin they danced their way to 4th place out of 8 couples and 5th place in the Youth category. In Standard they even reached the podium. They took 3rd place in the Junior II category and 4th place in the Youth category.
These are once again great results for our tournament pairs. We congratulate you on your success and hope you continue to enjoy your training.
