In Elblag were from October 18 to October 20, 2024 the 29th Polish Open Championships. These included numerous national and international events. European Championship over 10 Dances of Youth held, but also some World ranking tournaments for seniors in Standard and Latin.
Among the world ranking tournaments on Saturday were the WDSF Open Senior II Standard and Latin. Both tournaments were attended by Martin Lutz and Katarzyna Rybinska part.
First they went to the Senior II Standard on the surface. Against a total of 15 pairs They had to assert themselves there and dance through two preliminary rounds into the finalHe managed this without any problems with 89 out of 90 possible crossesIn the final they were able to convince the 9‑member jury and beat the international competition with a 2nd place.
Afterwards, the tournament of the Senior II Latin Here Martin and Katarzyna a field of 8 pairs. This time they moved with the maximum number of crosses into the final and secured tied with 2nd place, an excellent 3rd place.
Also the following day, Martin and Katarzyna were able to celebrate further success. This time they started in the younger age group at the WDSF Open Senior I Standard. Against 9 pairsThey had to assert themselves. They reached the final without any problems and shone there. Here too they reached the 2nd place.
This made the two the best German couple of the weekend.
