In Elb­lag were from Octo­ber 18 to Octo­ber 20, 2024 the 29th Polish Open Cham­pi­on­ships. The­se included num­e­rous natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal events. Euro­pean Cham­pi­on­ship over 10 Dances of Youth held, but also some World ran­king tour­na­ments for seni­ors in Stan­dard and Latin. 

Among the world ran­king tour­na­ments on Satur­day were the WDSF Open Seni­or II Stan­dard and Latin. Both tour­na­ments were atten­ded by Mar­tin Lutz and Katar­zy­na Rybins­ka part. 

First they went to the Seni­or II Stan­dard on the sur­face. Against a total of 15 pairs They had to assert them­sel­ves the­re and dance through two preli­mi­na­ry rounds into the finalHe mana­ged this wit­hout any pro­blems with 89 out of 90 pos­si­ble cros­sesIn the final they were able to con­vin­ce the 9‑member jury and beat the inter­na­tio­nal com­pe­ti­ti­on with a 2nd place.

After­wards, the tour­na­ment of the Seni­or II Latin Here Mar­tin and Katar­zy­na a field of 8 pairs. This time they moved with the maxi­mum num­ber of cros­ses into the final and secu­red tied with 2nd place, an excel­lent 3rd place. 

Also the fol­lo­wing day, Mar­tin and Katar­zy­na were able to cele­bra­te fur­ther suc­cess. This time they star­ted in the youn­ger age group at the WDSF Open Seni­or I Stan­dard. Against 9 pairsThey had to assert them­sel­ves. They rea­ched the final wit­hout any pro­blems and sho­ne the­re. Here too they rea­ched the 2nd place.

This made the two the best Ger­man cou­ple of the weekend.
