Months of preparation, numerous helping hands and a lot of passion — all of this was in the German Championship Masters II S Standard, which we will hold on 14 June 2025 in Frankfurt (Oder) were allowed to organize. The Frankfurt (Oder) exhibition hall shone in the splendour of black, red and gold – decorated with matching and loving table decorations, German flags and the flags of the federal states. Thus, it provided the perfect setting for the meeting of the best Masters II S standard couples from all over Germany.

An equally Thoralf Bölicke provided a worthy and entertaining start to the tournament with his yellow microphone. With charm, confidence and the right amount of humor He led the audience through the program items at the beginning and end of the event. He also hosted the show acts in his usual excellent manner.

After the opening by the 1. TSC Frankfurt (Oder) the time had come for the stars of the afternoon. The 34 couples, among them our local heroes Martin Lutz and Katarzyna Rybinska, opened the tournament under the direction of tournament director Thomas WehlingRight from the start, the couples for a first highlight through the rousing entry choreographyThe number 1 was of course allowed to go first and was appropriately worn by Martin and Kasia! After this presentation and the individual presentation, the 1. Preliminary round in six groups per dance. Our two danced confidently and elegantly into the next round in tailcoats and red dresses.

The breather was filled our youth couples: Lilly and Lukas, Fabrice and Chantal and Maksym and Evelina showed their skills in samba, cha cha cha, rumba and jive. Thank you for your great performance — this captivated the audience as much as the professionals.

This was followed promptly by the 1st intermediate round, in which the 24 remaining couples gave their best. Also Martin and Kasia impressed the judges once again and advanced to the semifinals.

But the supporting program was of course far from exhausted: This time the Show ballet by Fire & Flame from Eisenhüttenstadt for a fresh atmosphere — with a sophisticated hip-hop performance.

Afterwards the dance floor became the venue for the 12 best couples, among them of course Martin and Kasia — now in a bright white dressAfter the last quickstep it became exciting – the final places were announced. Thomas Wehling increased the excitement by announcing the finalists in random orderAfter the announcement of the first five finalists, Martin and Kasia weren’t called yet. But then—the relief afterwards: The Frankfurt couple was also allowed to dance for the medals afterwardsthe audience went wild.

Before the The show ballet and the cheerleaders of the Red Cocks heated up the decisive finale The audience continued to be enthusiastic. The enthusiasm carried the couples along, as did the cheering from the fans — This was particularly noticeable with Martin and Kasia, who lit up the dance floor with their performance.

Finally, the decisive moment came: the award ceremony. Our couple Martin Lutz and Katarzyna Rybinska was already getting ready to go on the floor, but sixth and fifth place did not go to her. But then they reached 4th place to great applause.

And that’s not all: Martin also celebrated his 50th birthday. This is an occasion for us to congratulate him and honor him for his achievements, successes, and commitment. — Congratulations and thank you for your decades of commitment to 1. TSC Frankfurt (Oder).
