Where the Löwen Frankfurt play ice hockey, the 10 to 12 May approx. 2000 dance couples. Because the ice hockey field of the Ice rink Frankfurt am Main, was transformed into a huge dance floor, which was divided into several areas. This allowed the numerous national and international tournaments were held simultaneously. All age and performance classes were represented.
A highlight of the event was the World Ranking Tournament Seniors II S Standard. With 87 pairs It was one of the tournaments with which largest starting field of the weekend.
Martin Lutz and Katarzyna Rybinska represented our club there successfully. In several rounds they had to prevail against the competition. After the first round they moved confidently into the second. There too they prevailed and convinced for the third round. There they also held their ground and were able to excellent 15th place to reach.
