On Saturday, January 26, 2019, dance music could be heard again in the exhibition hall because the national championship in Latin American dances was being held. The 1st TSC was represented by many children and youth couples. In the adult section, Rico Dietzsch started with Liset Fischer on Saturday and Martin Lutz with Sabine Meusel started in Berlin on Sunday. In the children’s ID age group, Nicolas Köthur and Lilly Sue Lutz won the national championship title. In the next higher age group, Children II D, Nico Seifert and Melina Gorobtschuk achieved the national championship title and their training mates Maksym Drozdovskyi and Evelina Thaens took third place. Four pairs started among the young people. Paul Jerome Brümmer and Solomiya Voronko won the national championship title in Youth D and were promoted to Youth C class. Noah Maximilian Gudlowski and Andrea Bönisch received the bronze medal in the Youth D category. In the next higher performance class, Youth C, Jason Pierenz and Josie Brandt became runner-up national champions and were promoted to the Youth B class. Rico Dietzsch and Liset Fischer achieved the national championship title in both the main group II C and the senior IC and were promoted to the B class. On Sunday, Martin Lutz and Sabine Meusel danced with the senior IS and became national champions again.
