On Satur­day, Janu­ary 26, 2019, dance music could be heard again in the exhi­bi­ti­on hall becau­se the natio­nal cham­pi­on­ship in Latin Ame­ri­can dances was being held. The 1st TSC was repre­sen­ted by many child­ren and youth cou­ples. In the adult sec­tion, Rico Dietzsch star­ted with Liset Fischer on Satur­day and Mar­tin Lutz with Sabi­ne Meu­sel star­ted in Ber­lin on Sun­day. In the children’s ID age group, Nico­las Köthur and Lil­ly Sue Lutz won the natio­nal cham­pi­on­ship title. In the next hig­her age group, Child­ren II D, Nico Sei­fert and Melina Gorobt­schuk achie­ved the natio­nal cham­pi­on­ship title and their trai­ning mates Mak­sym Droz­dovs­kyi and Eve­li­na Thaens took third place. Four pairs star­ted among the young peo­p­le. Paul Jero­me Brüm­mer and Solo­mi­ya Voron­ko won the natio­nal cham­pi­on­ship title in Youth D and were pro­mo­ted to Youth C class. Noah Maxi­mi­li­an Gud­low­ski and Andrea Bönisch recei­ved the bron­ze medal in the Youth D cate­go­ry. In the next hig­her per­for­mance class, Youth C, Jason Pie­renz and Josie Brandt beca­me run­ner-up natio­nal cham­pi­ons and were pro­mo­ted to the Youth B class. Rico Dietzsch and Liset Fischer achie­ved the natio­nal cham­pi­on­ship title in both the main group II C and the seni­or IC and were pro­mo­ted to the B class. On Sun­day, Mar­tin Lutz and Sabi­ne Meu­sel danced with the seni­or IS and beca­me natio­nal cham­pi­ons again.
