On Sunday, September 18, 2022, several drove Child and adult couples of our dance club to the popular sports tournament in Eberswalde. The tournament was organized by the Green-Gold dance sports department of SV Motor Eberswalde eV.
The two pairs of children Lilly Sue Lutz and Lukas Stapelmoor as well as Evelina Thaens and Maksym Drozdovskyi already dance at competitive sports tournaments and are therefore “old hands” on the dance floor. For our adult couples Yvonne Renné and Stefan Böhme as well as Juliya Grabowski and Maik Zabel However, it was the first tournament. So there was a lot of excitement. However, all couples were able to convince in their age groups:
In the standard dances, Lilly and Lukas each achieved second place in age groups 2 (12–15 years) and 3 (16–35 years). In Latin they also came second in AK 2 and fifth in AK 3. Evelina and Maksym also danced Latin. They won the tournament in AK 2 and achieved third place in AK 3.
Despite the excitement, Yvonne and Stefan won the tournament in the standard dances in age group 4 (from 36 years). Juliya and Maik reached third place in the same tournament. They started again in Latin and were able to win the tournament here in AK 4.
