This year the couples of higher performance classes to Bernau, where the Tanzclub Bernau eV Berlin/Brandenburg State Championships in Standard Dances The venue was the S‑Arena, which was decorated with great attention to detail. The focus was on the spacious dance floor, where numerous couples competed.
Also the Frankfurt dance couples were part of the party and travelled with four pairs to dance for titles and placings in the different classes – with great success.
The opening event was Lukas Stapelmoor and Lilly Sue Lutz in the Youth B StandardWith starting number 42 they convinced the judges and danced their way to the first place – and thus the national championship title.
The TSC continued in the Masters IB Standard. Here stood Falk Korndörfer and Christine Becker on the dance floor, cheered on by numerous spectators. Supported by the great atmosphere, they achieved an excellent second place.
Things got particularly exciting in the tournament of Masters II B Standard, in which three Frankfurt couples took part: In addition to Falk and Christine also appeared Stefan Böhme and Yvonne Renné as well as Georg Winzer and Anke Schneider After a confidently mastered preliminary round, all three pairs into the final. There they gave it their all once again: George and Anke demonstrated a strong fourth place, Falk and Christine secured the Vice championship title, and at the top of the podium beamed Stefan and Yvonne with their national championship title.
We warmly congratulate all four couples on their great successes and their impressive performances on the dance floor.
