Because in Berlin Wandlitz There was no social party, but the East German Discofox ChampionshipThe couples of the different performance classes showed at the Kersten dance school from the classic basket to other angle figures to the eagerly awaited freestyles of the S‑class couples, their entire repertoire.
Among the numerous dance couples were also some of our dance couples.
The first to do this was the Selection round for amateur dancers. Here, Andreas Marks and Janine Zmarzlewski made their tournament debutThey presented their choreographies to slow and fast music without knotting their arms. They convinced the jury and were able to 2nd place At the same time, they were Result spotted in the B class.
Then we continued with the children. Dancing here Nicklas and Sophia Kaufmann. With her performance They achieved 1st place in 2x 1 minute and 30 seconds.
In the Adult S‑Class then entered Marco and Lisa Kühne the dance floor. For the two of them it was first, in the slow and quick rounds to perform. Afterwards, the audience waited with anticipation for the finalists to be announced. Of course, a new theme was needed this year. And so Marco and Lisa chose Spider-Man. With this freestyle they thrilled the audience and finished the championship with from 4th place. At the same time they achieved the East German championship title in Discofox 2025
